How to Paint Decorative Walls? A Guide for Decorators

Decorative walls are a long-lasting investment – but only if you take care of their aesthetics and maintain them properly. One of the most common questions we receive is: "What's the best paint for walls that will look good, won't chip, and can be repainted?"

You ask - We answer!

What works best?

1. Latex wall paints

This is an easily accessible option, especially if you only decorate occasionally. They offer good coverage and are abrasion-resistant, but they perform better on smooth surfaces than on textured ones.

2. Acrylic paints for wood – our favorite

If durability, aesthetics, and the ability to repaint multiple times are important to you, choose acrylic wood paints. These paints:

  • they cover well,
  • they don't drip,
  • provide an elegant matte or semi-matte finish,
  • They adhere well to both smooth and grooved surfaces.

The best Lifecheck

White acrylic paint can be tinted with any pigments you like, allowing you to create the exact color you need for your event.

Remember!

Our walls are designed to be repainted multiple times – you can adapt them to any occasion and changing trends without the risk of damage.

Practical tips for changing the appearance of a wall:

  • Always wipe the wall before painting – this will remove dust and remnants of previous decorations,
  • Use a short-haired roller or a detail brush – especially for grooves,
  • Protect the surface – preferably with paint foil,
  • Let the paint dry well – especially with intense colors.
